Hello From Heaven! is the first book of its kind, founding a new field of research, After-Death Communications (ADCs).
Bill Guggenheim and his former wife, Judy Guggenheim, founded the study of after-death communication in 1988 with The ADC Project. Over the next eight years, they interviewed over 2,000 people and collected over 3,300 firsthand accounts of people who believe they have been contacted by a loved one who has died.
Interviews were conducted with participants from each of the 50 American states and the 10 Canadian provinces. The subjects range in age from children to the elderly (from 8 to 92 years old) and represent diverse social, educational, economic, occupational, and religious backgrounds.
Bill and Judy published, Hello From Heaven!, in 1996 via Bantam Books. The book contains over 353 firsthand ADC accounts - each one is a complete short story told in the experiencer’s own words.
The Guggenheims conservatively estimate at least 60 million Americans – or 20% of the population of the United States – have had one or more ADC experiences. And some polls indicate the actual numbers are double these figures – that more than 125 million Americans, or 43% of the population, have had an ADC. As a result, after-death communications appear to be the most common form of spiritual experiences that people have.
ADCs consistently affirm an essential spiritual message: Life and love are eternal.
Hello From Heaven! is now available in 15 languages worldwide and is offered in English via E-Book and Audiobook as well. Initially, Hello From Heaven! was a bestseller. Today, it is considered to be a "classic."
